Moving off Spring

Spring, the print-on-demand platform that used to be Teespring, is being retired. This is what its own notice says, what to save while you can still sign in, and where a shop can go next.

What has closed, and when

Spring is closing in stages. Its owner, Amaze, is moving the creators it invites to a new platform, Amaze Commerce. These dates are from its own notice.

Selling tools are “no longer available”. Spring has also stopped renewing domains bought through it.

After that
Balances still owed are paid through a separate website. Spring says orders already placed are made, shipped and paid out as normal.

A checklist for leaving

1 · Save the designs
In the dashboard’s Listings tab, each listing has a Download Uploaded Images icon. Use it on every listing, and copy out each title, description and price. Amaze rebuilds only your best sellers, not the whole catalogue.
2 · Save the records
Order history and tax details do not move to Amaze Commerce. Copy what the Analytics section shows: orders, units, profit, and where buyers came from. The notice does not say whether buyers’ contact details can be exported, so ask Spring’s support.
3 · Claim your money
Check your payout details and request what you are owed. Spring pays monthly, needs a balance of at least $25, and pays that month only if you ask before the 21st.
4 · Repoint the links
Spring’s notice offers forwarding only to a new Amaze Commerce shop. Go anywhere else and expect the old link to fail once Spring stores “stop accepting traffic”. Links come in two shapes: yourname.creator-spring.com and the older teespring.com/stores/yourname. Search your bios, video descriptions, pinned comments and link pages for both.
5 · Reconnect YouTube
If your products show under your videos, connect the new shop in YouTube Studio, under Earn, then Shopping. YouTube’s supported platforms include Fourthwall, Shopify, Spreadshop, TeePublic and Wix. Amaze Commerce was not listed when we checked.
6 · Move the domain
Bought through Spring: transfer it to another registrar before the registration runs out. Bought elsewhere: change the DNS records that point at Spring.
7 · Choose where to go
The three routes are compared below.
8 · Tell your audience
Say the shop has moved, give the new link, and say orders already placed will still arrive. Put it wherever the old link was.

Three routes out

Three kinds of company can take a shop on. They differ in who does the work and who pays.

Where Divini fits

Divini is a done-for-you partner. We design, make and run the range and its shop at our own cost, advertising included, and are paid only from the profit. There is no fee and no minimum order, and what you already sell stays 100% yours.

That suits a creator who wants the shop run for them, and would rather share the profit than spend their own hours and advertising budget. It does not suit one who wants the whole margin and will do the work: a print-on-demand platform is the better route. How it works, or book a call.
