Legitimate interests is one of the lawful bases in UK data protection law. We rely on it where using the information is necessary to run the business — answering the people who contact us, understanding how the site is used, keeping it secure — and where that does not override your own interests. It also covers a manager, an agent or a label writing to us about an act: we use what they send to answer the enquiry. You can object to it at any time; see Your rights.

We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive information such as health details. Please leave it out of anything you send us.
How a visit is recorded
- Cookies
- Reading this site sets no cookies. One page can be locked with a password; if you unlock it, a cookie remembers that for 30 days so you are not asked again. It holds nothing about you.
- In your browser
- While a page is open, a script on it keeps a random number in your browser’s session storage, so that the clicks and scrolling of one visit can be read together. It is not a cookie, it is not shared with any other site, and your browser deletes it when you close the tab.
- Return visits
- If we have sent you a link to a page we made for you, such as a concept store, and you opened it, a later visit to this site from the same IP address is linked to that record. That is how we know a visit is likely to be from someone we have already written to.
- Country
- Where the country does not arrive with the request, we look your IP address up in the public registers kept by the internet’s regional registries. That means the address is sent to the registry that holds it.
- Typefaces
- The pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts. To do that your browser contacts Google’s servers, and Google sees your IP address, as it would for any request.
- Film
- One page can play a film hosted by YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; when you do, the film comes from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced address, youtube-nocookie.com.
- Advertising
- There are no advertising trackers on this site, and no analytics service run by anyone else.
Who sees it
- The people who run Divini.
- Render, which hosts this site and its database. The servers are in Oregon, in the United States.
- Microsoft, which hosts our email.
- Google, YouTube and the internet registries, in the ways described above.
- Calendly, which runs the calendar on the booking page. When the calendar opens, Calendly receives your name and your email address, so that you do not have to type them again, and a reference that lets us match the booking to your enquiry. It sends you the invitation and the reminders.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
- Emails and enquiries
- For as long as we are in conversation with you, and for two years after the last message between us.
- Visit records
- For twelve months.
When a period ends we delete the record, or strip from it everything that identifies you.
Your rights
UK data protection law gives you rights over the information we hold about you. You can ask us:
- for a copy of it;
- to correct it;
- to delete it;
- to restrict what we do with it;
- to stop using it — you can object at any time to anything we do on the basis of legitimate interests;
- to give it to you in a form you can take elsewhere, where that right applies.
Write to contact@divini.co.uk. In most cases it costs nothing, and we will answer without undue delay and within one month.
We send marketing email only to people who ticked the box asking for it. You can change your mind at any time by writing to contact@divini.co.uk, and we will stop.
