AliExpress joins YouTube Shopping affiliate programme in the US, UK, Germany and Brazil
Creators in four more countries can tag AliExpress products in videos, Shorts and livestreams and earn commission on sales, under a partnership announced on 20 October 2026.

AliExpress has signed a global affiliate partnership with YouTube, letting eligible creators tag its products in their videos, Shorts and livestreams and earn commission on the resulting sales. The online marketplace announced the deal on 20 October 2026.
Four new markets
The partnership started in South Korea in March 2026. It now extends to the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Brazil, with more countries to follow in phases as YouTube opens its affiliate programme in new markets.
Creators choose AliExpress products from inside YouTube Studio. AliExpress said tagging works across long videos, Shorts and livestreams, giving the example of a consumer electronics product shown in an unboxing Short or during a live conversation with viewers. The range covers consumer electronics, sport and outdoor, home and living, and lifestyle, with particular weight on Brand+, AliExpress's selection of branded goods from international and local brands.
Content and commerce are converging globally, and this partnership connects AliExpress's affiliate ecosystem with YouTube's creator ecosystem.

Part of a wider push
YouTube's Shopping affiliate programme lets creators tag eligible products and take a commission on sales. Social Media Today reports that it opened to UK-based creators in August. At its Made on YouTube event on 23 September 2026, YouTube said more than 1.3 million creators were in the programme, that gross merchandise volume had grown 13 times over two years, and that the programme would reach 35 countries by the end of 2026. It also said it had recently added the ability to tag Amazon products in the US.
Social Media Today's reading is that the programme needs local suppliers and retailers to appeal in each country, and that AliExpress, which says it operates in more than 200 countries and regions, could give it a large boost. Neither announcement gives commission rates or a start date for each market.
What it means for acts
Affiliate commission is a separate income stream from an act's own merchandise, and it needs no stock. A tour vlog, a gear rundown or a livestream can carry tagged products, though only ones the act would genuinely recommend to fans. Check that the channel meets YouTube's Shopping affiliate requirements in your country before planning around it, and label affiliate links clearly.
