Samsung TV Plus is adding a dedicated Trevor Noah channel for viewers in the UK, carrying segments from his podcast What Now? and his stand-up catalogue. SamMobile reported the channel on 14 October 2026, and the Podnews newsletter carried the news on 16 October 2026.

What the channel carries

According to SamMobile, the channel brings together more than 170 hours of comedy and podcast content taken from Noah's YouTube channel, which has more than 430 million views. What Now? is a talk show that features some of the world's prominent thought leaders as guests. Neither report gives a channel number or a launch date.

Samsung TV Plus is a free, ad-supported streaming service. SamMobile says the Noah channel joins creator channels already on the platform, among them Fearne Cotton's Happy Place, Golf Life and JOE Media, while content from Dhar Mann and Mark Rober is available in some markets.

The podcast itself is still publishing every week. Its latest episode, "Adam Grant: Fix Your Vibe", came out on 15 October 2026.

Podcasts heading for the television

The same Podnews edition carried two more podcast deals with television services. PAVE Studios said its video podcast Clues and a new show, Mother Knows Murder, will stream on Disney+ and Hulu.

It's the first of many places we expect these stories to go.

In Australia, the podcast publisher Mamamia is to launch as a streaming TV channel on Samsung TV Plus. The company says 30% of what its audience consumes already comes through video.

Podnews also reported new figures from MIDiA Research suggesting that podcasting has almost a billion listeners worldwide, with YouTube leading in almost every territory and holding a 32% share globally.

What it means for acts

A podcast with a library of video can now fill a free television channel, which puts it in front of viewers who never open a podcast app or search YouTube. The Noah channel is built from material that already exists, so the work is in rights and packaging rather than new production. Acts and managers with long-form video should check who controls full episodes and clips before talking to a channel, and whether a deal would sit alongside their existing YouTube and sponsorship agreements.
